PokerStars expands on the Isle of Man

PokerStars moved its headquarters to the Isle of Man in 2005, by placing it in the Douglas Bay complex on Onchan Head. When the poker room first celebrated its presence on the island, the company employed only five employees. 12 years later the number has grown to almost 400 people. Therefore, PokerStars is forced to open its second office on the island, which will be first placed by 41 members of the PokerStars team.

“It’s always good to celebrate success. The opening of these offices marks a double success. First of all, this reflects the continuing global success of PokerStars. The second is the Isle of Man, which creates an excellent base for world leaders such as PokerStars”, – said Chief Minister Howard Quayle at the opening ceremony.
