Sportech entered into a commercial deal with Sportradar

The bookmaker and technology solutions provider Sportech announced the signing of a deal with Sportradar, which specializes in working with sports information and digital content.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sportech will provide Sportradar services to its network of 90 licensed customer operators and other companies in states where sports bets are already legal. In addition, Sportech plans to launch Sportradar’s sports betting platform in Connecticut if the state adopts appropriate legislation.

Andrew Gaughan, chief executive of Sportech, said: “We are thrilled to expand our product line to include Sportradar’s globally recognised sports betting capability, and we are poised to deliver a world class sports betting experience to our business clients across the US and within our 16 Connecticut locations and through our online and mobile channels, when legislation permits”.

Neale Deeley, vice-president of gaming sales at Sportradar, added: “We’re excited to partner with Sportech, a company that shares our vision of how the US betting market will unfold and who are well positioned to capitalise on that market with existing gaming licenses and a strong customer base“.
