Ubisoft revealed the location for the first BLAST R6 Rainbow Six Major of Season 2024. The first ever Major in the United Kingdom will be the BLAST R6 Rainbow Six Major of Season 2024 will take place in Manchester (May 16-26)!
With Season 2024 set to get underway in the coming months, teams across the 9 different regions of BLAST R6 will be looking to become one of the 20 teams to qualify for the Manchester Major. These teams will compete for a lion’s share of the USD $750,000 prize pool, as well as points to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025.
The United Kingdom will host its first-ever Rainbow Six Esports international arena event when Manchester’s B.E.C Arena welcomes 20 of the world’s best teams over two weeks in May. The BLAST R6 Major Manchester will feature a 3-phase format with the final weekend playing out in front of a live audience in the B.E.C Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom.

An Updated Phase 1:
Phase 1 has been changed from last year’s Copenhagen and Atlanta Majors, with eight teams competing in a modified Best of 3 Double Elimination Bracket played until we are left with the top four teams.
Phases 2 and 3 remain unchanged from 2023. The four triumphant teams from Phase 1 will join Phase 2 in a 16 Team Swiss Bracket Phase where 12 teams will join them. Phase 3 will be played in front of an arena audience in a Team Single Elimination.

Fans will have the choice between 3-day passes and single day passes, with general admission. Category one Gold ticket purchasers will get a special BLAST Rainbow Six Siege merchandise bundle and early entry into the venue to pick their seats first.
The event is open to everyone aged 18-years old and older. Fans aged 16 and 17-years old are allowed to attend the event so long as they provide parental consent, which can be in the form of a written document. The event is not open to anyone aged below 16-years-old.
