SBC’s digital summit innovative captivates global audiences

From the moment physical large-scale events, like the annual SBC conferences, were canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, organizers of such events had to discover the best alternatives. And according to CEO and founder of SBC Rasmus Sojmark “from the day we started talking about the idea for a digital event, after being forced to postpone our physical events, we have received a hugely positive response from our partners”.

And so, they just did it. SBC realized the 2020 digital summit which got underway this Monday (27/04) with operators, suppliers, affiliates and sports clubs from around the world being digitally present and taking part in the betting and gaming industry’s first ever major virtual conference and exhibition!

The 10,000+ delegates include a huge contingent of key staff from more than 300 leading operators from markets in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa and Asia. They include all the “big” names of the industry like bet365, GVC Holdings, William Hill, Betsson Group, Kindred Group, Caesars Entertainment, Pinnacle, 888 and many others.

Joining the operators at the five-day Summit, which runs until Friday 1 May, are the world’s leading digital marketers and affiliates, with Twitter, Microsoft, Google, Better Collective, Oddschecker, Catena Media, among the attendees.

The innovative event has also captured the attention of leading international sports teams such as Bayern Munich, Manchester City, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, LA Rams, Chicago Bears, Pittsburgh Steelers, Real Salt Lake, and Espanyol, to name just a few.

Day 1

There was one major topic in everyone’s notes during the opening day. How are iGaming operators doing without any sports? The issue was discussed among speakers in every panel of this virtual summit.

Visitors could follow live every panel discussion in the Auditorium, which provides delegates access to live conference sessions and also the possibility to ask their questions. Of course, delegates could watch the sessions later on demand.

Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technology, delegates will also be able to browse a virtual exhibition with leading suppliers showcasing their latest innovations and benefit from a fully interactive virtual networking space that allows them to connect directly with each other in groups or 1-to-1. How does it work?
