Japanese can limit visits to the casino up to 10 times a month

The Japanese government proposed to reduce the number of casino visits by local players to three times a week, and not more than 10 visits during the month in order to avoid game dependence. The bill will be submitted by the end of March, and may enter into force in near future.

To check the number of visits, lawmakers plan by means of official My Number IDs with built-in IC chip. It is interesting that not only citizens of the country, but also foreigners living in Japan on a permanent basis will fall under the restrictions. The government hopes that the legalization of the casino will attract more foreign tourists to Japan, so for them the attendance of the casino will not be limited.

In addition, the Japanese authorities decided that the casino area could not be more than 15 thousand square meters. In addition, cannot occupy more than 3% of the land area of the integrated resort.
