The confirmation of the end of FUN88’s shirt sponsorship deal – from now on FUN88 will be NUFC’s official Asian betting partner – means that the Magpies will be looking a new main sponsor after six seasons. According to various reports Newcastle’s success in the Premier League and their qualification in next season’s Champions League, led the club to negotiate an early exit from the £6.5million-per-season deal in order to pursue more lucrative commercial opportunities.
