The German betting and gaming operator MyBet announced the partnership with the German to ice hockey league, the Deutsche Eishockeyliga (DEL) as its exclusive sportsbook partner. According to the deal, the operator will get branding space in TV spots and on the league’s social media channels, which are MyBet’s primary targets.
DEL managing director Gernot Tripcke commented on the deal: “We look forward to this strategic cooperation with Mybet. This gives our ice hockey fans the opportunity to bet on their favorites. At the same time, we will look to raise the profile of ice hockey in Germany through a series of campaigns”.
MyBet’s sportsbook product was complemented by a new casino offering, through a deal with EveryMatrix, and the deal with DEL proves that the provider is trying to stand again on its feet. MyBet relaunched in 2019 a Kambi-powered sportsbook, after Rhinoceros Group acquired the brand and its digital assets in December 2018, at a time when it had looked set to disappear from the market, having been active since 1998.
