Betano, the premium sports betting and gaming brand owned by Kaizen Gaming, has renewed its partnership with FC Porto for three more seasons, extending its role as the club’s main sponsor through the end of the 2028/29 season. The agreement builds on a successful collaboration that began in 2021, centered around shared ambitions and a mutual passion for sports.
As part of the renewed deal, Betano will continue to feature prominently on the front of FC Porto’s official match and training shirts for the First Team and B Team. The partnership has also been expanded to include the club’s Women’s Team, which will make its debut in the top tier of Portuguese women’s football this season. Betano’s branding will now appear on the sleeve of the Women’s Team shirts, further increasing the brand’s presence across all of FC Porto’s football teams.
“FC Porto is stronger when its partners are stronger too. It is through this mutually beneficial relationship, one that we have built on trust and commitment, that both our Club and our partners thrive. Betano has been a key partner through many important moments, and we are therefore delighted to extend our partnership until 2029. Far beyond its presence on the front of our shirt, Betano has played a decisive role in several Club projects, particularly Inzone, which is a source of great pride for us. And, of course, there are the many initiatives we have developed together, which are an integral part of the Club’s vitality and which we are certain will continue to grow over the coming years,” said José Pedro Pereira da Costa, Executive Board Member and CFO of FC Porto.
“FC Porto has been an exceptional partner over the past five years, a period in which the club has won an impressive total of eight domestic titles, and we are delighted to extend this successful relationship until 2029. This renewal reflects the strong trust we have built together and our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and delivering memorable experiences for fans. We are especially proud to expand our partnership to include FC Porto’s Women’s Team, supporting another important milestone in the club’s journey. We look forward to continuing to grow together, both on and off the pitch, while creating a positive and lasting impact for the FC Porto community,” added Julio Iglesias Hernando, Chief Commercial Officer at Kaizen Gaming.
The renewed partnership will focus on delivering fan-focused activations, strengthening Betano’s presence within the club’s community, and expanding social responsibility initiatives. These efforts aim to create a lasting and meaningful connection between the brand and the FC Porto fanbase.
