Romania will tough an advertising gambling

In May representatives of the opposition National Liberal Party of Romania proposed to ban “audiovisual commercial messages related to gambling”, limiting such advertising to special publications and “premises intended for organizing gambling”.

As a result, online gambling operators are concerned about the provisions of the bill, which implies a ban on advertising online products even on their own sites. It is also unclear whether the advertising of gambling on TV will be banned, whether it is possible to display the content developed by international companies on television, or restrictions will affect only products of local production.
