Polymarket, the billion-dollar prediction market platform, has introduced a suite of responsible trading tools designed to protect users financially and mentally. The platform is now offering deposit limits, self-exclusion options, and a centralized Trust & Safety Center to promote safer trading practices.
The Trust & Safety Center serves as a hub for information on trading rules, customer protection, and platform guidelines. It covers community standards, content moderation, and market integrity across Polymarket’s U.S. and international operations, including Squads, profiles, and the Polymarket Discord.
“The center will bring together information on user protections, market integrity, and other Trust & Safety initiatives across Polymarket’s U.S. and international platforms,” the company stated.
Deposit Limits and Self-Exclusion
Polymarket has implemented deposit limits and self-exclusion tools to help traders manage their activity. Users can now set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps for all funding methods, including Apple Pay, bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and cryptocurrency. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately, while raising or removing one requires a cooling-off period.
Self-exclusion options allow traders to temporarily or permanently exclude themselves from the platform, ranging from 30 days to a lifetime ban.
“These tools give users greater control over their activity on Polymarket. Traders can voluntarily exclude themselves from the platform for periods ranging from 30 days to one year to a lifetime,” the company explained.
Mental Health Support and Educational Resources
In response to growing concerns about the mental health impact of trading, Polymarket has partnered with Birches Health, a major provider of addiction treatment services. Traders now have access to clinical assessments, recovery plans, and virtual care across all 50 states.
The platform is also developing educational materials, including a co-branded Trading Responsibly guide. The guide includes a four-question self-check to help users determine when to seek additional support.
“Polymarket is also developing educational materials to help participants better understand responsible trading and the tools available to manage their activity,” the company concluded.
