Czech Republic intends to ban online bonuses and freebets

The Czech authorities intend to impose a ban on offers in the online casino for the receipt of bonuses and the opportunity to play with the help of freebet. This move is dictated by concerns about the relationship between the proposed shares in the online casino and problems with the dependence on gambling.

The Czech Ministry of Finance reports that bonus offers in online casinos are pushing their customers to gambling, and therefore they should be strictly controlled.

The new legislative initiative is part of the government’s global plan to tighten the rules of doing business in online gambling. The draft law is aimed at improving consumer protection and suppressing the growth of gambling in the country.
