Indiana will see the first ground-based casino

In the state of Indiana will begin its work the first terrestrial casino Tropicana. The total investment in the project was $ 50 million.

John Chazzar, CEO of Tropicana Ent, states that the opening of the casino will be a new milestone in the development of the state, as in the long term ground-based institutions will completely push the river casinos. The head of the corporation added that taxes from the gambling house will be used to support social programs.

In 2015, the General Assembly of the State of Indiana adopted a draft law providing for the transition from river casinos to work on land.
