Bethard has announced that it has been granted another national license, this time for Ireland. A remote bookmaker’s license has been granted to the Bethard Group by the Irish Revenue Department. Receipt of the latest license makes for a total of five national gaming licenses in Europe obtained by the company. The firm expects to procure additional licenses in the coming year.
”We are moving forward at an exceptional speed, and I think we have managed to demonstrate our sincerity in our ambition to create Europe’s leading betting company When I look back at 2018 and what we have managed to achieve in a very short period of time, I am exceptionally proud of the company,” he continued. “In less than one year, we have moved from being a small Swedish niche player, to a force that is to be reckon with in a much larger arena. And this is just the beginning”, – concluded Bethard founder and chief executive Erik Skarp.
The operator is licensed in the UK and Malta, and in August was approved to enter the Danish market. The operator will look to follow this by moving into Germany, via a Schleswig-Holstein licence, and Spain, with applications for each underway.Follow us on
