This week Colombian local regulator Coljuegos issued the fifth license for online casino. The next operator of online betting in Colombia became the company Codere. The licence will run for a five-year period and cover sports betting online, via mobile and various face-to-face channels.
Codere will work in Colombia through its brand “Codere Apuestas”, which in turn will expand its current offer from gambling rooms, bingo and casinos in the country.
Colombia was the first country in Latin America, which officially approved online gambling, and the regulator Coljuegos issued a number of licenses in recent months to allow companies to work legally.
