Ladbrokes Coral will close the deal with GVC in the near future

In December GVC agreed to acquire Ladbrokes Coral for £ 4bn (€ 4.5bn / $ 5.5bn). If the contract will be signed, GVC owners will receive a 53.5% stake in Ladbrokes Coral.

Ladbrokes Coral said that next month a schematic document containing detailed information on the terms of the deal will be sent to shareholders for consideration.

GVC believes that cooperation will make the company a fast-growing, international online platform for sports betting with revenues of more than 90%, which will come from local regulated and taxable gambling markets.

The CEO of GVC Holdings, Kenneth Alexander, whose company already owns the brands Bwin, Sportingbet and Foxy Bingo, described the acquisition deal as “a truly exciting prospect”.
