Latvia charges €400,000 annual fee for live casino providers

Since January 2018 online casino providers based in Latvia will pay a fixed annual fee of 400 000 euros for broadcasting games from the country.

A new fixed fee was set after the country’s parliament amended its initial plans, which forced the operators to charge a fee depending on the number of tables they controlled.

Previously, there was a fee of 11,700 euros for one table in the casino, but now it was rejected in favor of a general fee.
