Online bookmaker Marathonbet has struck a deal to become the official betting partner of Real Madrid in Russia for the remainder of the 2019-20 football season. The operator will become Real Madrid’s first Russian partner in the club’s 117-year history.
As part of the partnership, Marathonbet will receive a boost in its exposure across Spain via virtual LED boards in Russian broadcasts of Real Madrid games, which is expected to utilise digital overlay technology.
Also, Marathonbet customers will receive exclusive offers and have access to special events organised by the operator during the 2019-20 season, such as matchday VIP experiences and meet and greets with Real Madrid players.
The partnership marks another step in expanding into the Spanish leagues for Marathonbet, having previously secured a two-year sponsorship agreement with Sevilla FC earlier this year.
Marathonbet also has deals in place with the likes of English Premier League club Manchester City, Ukrainian team Karpaty, CD Municipal and Universitario de Deportes in Peru, Everton de Viña del Mar in Chile, and Liga Deportiva Universitaria in Ecuador.
