Online sportsbook Marathonbet has added a training kit sponsorship deal to its official betting partnership with Premier League champions Manchester City.
The sports betting operator has sealed an agreement to become the club’s first-ever official training kit partner and will sponsor warm-up gear for both the men’s and women’s teams.
The upgrade to the existing partnership sees Marathonbet build on the previous 18 months in which it has operated as City’s Official Global Betting Partner.
Manchester City unveiled its new training kit at a press event attended by manager Pep Guardiola and City players Sergio Agüero, Bernardo Silva, Gemma Bonner and Megan Campbell.
The betting operator confirmed that junior and academy jerseys will showcase the ‘City Football Foundation’ logo.
“It’s been a pleasure to be alongside Manchester City as its official betting partner, for one of the most exciting chapters in the club’s history. We are delighted to be strengthening our partnership today by becoming the club’s first-ever training kit partner,” stated Natalia Zavodnik, Marathonbet CEO.
The company Marathonbet has also represented ‘The Citizens’ around the world, most recently during the sportsbook’s Nigeria launch where it arranged for City’s trophy tour, featuring all six trophies won by the men’s and women’s team last season, to be brought to the African country.
