Ex-player of “Barcelona” Javier Mascherano signed an agreement with Planet e-sports agency. The details of the partnership are not specified, but it is known that Mascherano will develop eSports in Latin America.
Javier Mascherano is not a first football player to get into this industry. Earlier, the husband of Shakira Gerard Piquet created his own league on the simulator PES 2018, and Andre Gomes became one of the investors of the organization G2 eSports.
“I’m very aware about esports content importance in Europe, USA & APAC regions but Latin America is the region to grow. I’m pretty confident about our possibilities as an agency that wants to work with different partners to lead this field in Latin America», – stated Javier Mascherano.
