PlayUp acquired the social platform Betting.club

The Australian gaming company PlayUp announced the acquisition of the social platform Betting.club. The deal comes after PlayUp last month also acquired Sydney-based ClassicBet.

This platform allows players to evaluate offers and share tips and bets, as well as celebrate their wins with friends or in the company of other players. PlayUp acquired Betting.club from Mounties Group, Campsie RSL and Club Rivers.

Daniel Simic, PlayUp CEO commented: “betting.club has been on our radar for sometime as they have built a truly social wagering platform used by a high volume of punters as well as developed an innovative app and online presence. We’re committed to enhancing the social and community focus of the platform as well as integrate the PlayChip as an optional wagering payments and rewards offering”.
