The rules of betting are tightened up in Europe

The Council of the European Union will now verify all individuals who register at bookmakers. This decision was taken to combat money laundering and terrorist organizations for which bookmakers are one of the best ways to hide their financial machinations. The rules for making bets must be tightened.

In June, the UK Gambling Regulatory Commission reminded the operators that it was necessary to identify the players. Ignoring this fact will be accepted as a violation of the licensing conditions in the state and may lead to the imposition of penalties on violators.

At the same time, experts argue that the innovation could disrupt the work of the largest bookmakers.
