On Wednesday, March 27, the governor approved a law on interactive bets on lottery in West Virginia , which earlier this month signed. This bill will allow five land gaming licensees to offer online poker and casino products to locals.
Now West Virginia has replenished the list of states that legalized online gambling. Nevada has yet to legalize online casino games, and Pennsylvania.
West Virginia legislation calls on the West Virginia Lottery to finalize regulations by June 2020. In this case, residents of West Virginia will be able to enjoy legal online gambling before the end of next year. However, it is more likely that this will happen in 2021.
