Esports Entertainment Group gets MGA license

Next generation online gambling company Esports Entertainment Group received its MGA Gaming Service License for pool betting from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), which is effective for a 10-year term and may be renewed by MGA for further 10-year periods subject to regulatory provisions. Also, the Esports Entertainment Group holds a Curacao license to conduct online gambling and 18+ gaming on a global basis.

Esports Entertainment Group is as the name suggests focused on esports. Utilizing their advanced wagering system, they offer esports fans and enthusiasts from around the world (excluding the United States) the ability to wager on all professional eSports events for real money in their licensed and secure environment. In addition, Esports Entertainment intends to offer users from around the world the ability to participate in multi-player mobile, console and PC video game tournaments online for cash prizes.

The Malta-based company is the first online gambling company trading on an American stock exchange. Esports Entertainment common stock is listed on the NASDAQ under the symbol GMBL.

This Malta License will be an important part of our growth plan.”
