Pinnacle drops out from the Polish market

The bookmaker operator Pinnacle has announced its withdrawal from the Polish sports betting market due to the country’s induction of a new gambling regime.

New Polish gambling laws will take effect in April. Pinnacle cited these regulatory changes as the reason behind the decision. The restrictive framework has been estimated as favoring the state-owned betting firms and making foreign industry operators’ activities unmanageable.

Besides criticism from EU officials and industry stakeholders, the Polish government has made no movement in a question of taxes betting operators 12% of wagering turnover. Although being under pressure from the European Commission, Polish government refused to align its gambling industry framework with European business policies. Instead, the government only added further online restrictions to casino and slot machines.

All of the above is a main reason that Pinnacle inactivate all Polish registered accounts with all remaining funds and balances returned to the customers.

Букмекерская контора Pinnacle объявила о своем выходе из польского рынка спортивных ставок по причине высокого налогообложения.

Польское правительство не сделало никакого послабления в вопросе налоговой ставки игровых операторов, которое составляло 12% от оборота. Испытывая давление со стороны Европейской комиссии польское правительство отказалось согласовать свои рамки игорного бизнеса с европейскими бизнес-нормами. Вместо этого польские чиновники только увеличили ограничения на казино и игровые автоматы.

Новые законы, согласно польскому законодательству, вступают в силу в апреле. В результате Pinnacle деактивирует все свои польские счета и оставшиеся средства.
