32Red leaves Australian Market

One of the major online gambling brands, 32Red, which has recently become a part of Swedish Kindred (former Unibet) Group, will be leaving online gambling of Australia. The company has notified all of its affiliates to stop promoting all 32Red brands in the country, stating that it won’t be accepting new players from Australia after April 3, 2017.

In March 2017, the Australian government moved closer to closing the long-existing loopholes in the country’s current legislation in regard to online gambling. The current regulations allow interactive gambling operators that are licensed and based outside Australia to exploit the loopholes in the law, still offering their products to Australian players.
