Amaya sells stake in Innova Gaming Group lottery business

Canadian gambling operator Amaya Gaming has agreed on a deal to sell the stakes of its former subsidiary business Innova Gaming Group to Pollard Banknote, a Canadian lottery services company.

Amaya announced that it had reached a support agreement with Canadian lottery services company Pollard Banknote Limited, which has made a $42m unsolicited offer to acquire Innova Gaming Group. Pollard has agreed to make an all-cash offer of no less than $2.10 per share for Innova, and Amaya, the owner of 8.18m Innova shares (40.45%), has pledged its support of Pollard’s bid.
