DATA.BET has partnered with Hollywoodbets to introduce esports betting to South Africa, a market already dominated by major operators. This collaboration provides Hollywoodbets with a full suite of esports betting tools, including an iFrame, odds feed, bet builder, widgets, streaming, and managed risk services.
The deal covers over 770 markets across 30 esports disciplines, featuring popular titles like CS2, Dota 2, Valorant, League of Legends, and Rainbow Six, with 10,000 monthly events. This marks Hollywoodbets’ first foray into esports betting, catering to the growing demand for digital sports betting in South Africa.

DATA.BET, known for its esports expertise, has also been expanding into traditional sports betting markets. During the FIFA World Cup this summer, the company’s Head of Sports, Yevhenii Ilchenko, noted that “consistently engaged bettors stayed for six straight weeks,” showcasing its ability to retain users during major sporting events.
For Hollywoodbets, this esports launch is a strategic move in a competitive market that includes operators like Betway, Sportpesa, Sun Bet, and bet365. The addition of esports betting aligns with the global trend of integrating digital sports into mainstream betting platforms.
