GamblersPost Gamblers Post is a dedicated news and networking portal in the online gambling industry which features news, opinions, interviews as well as product and software reviews.
Denmark expressed a desire to implement a code of conduct for the gambling industry. It can improve consumer protection and contribute to preventing gambling as entertainment developing into compulsive gambling.
The new code is intended towards creating a better gambling environment in terms of consumer protection and also making the Danish gambling industry more attentive and accountable for problem gamblers. It is expected to come into effect from the beginning of July 2019.
There are three sections of license holders who come into the purview of the code:
٠ License holders in the area of online casino and betting who come under Danish Online Gambling Association.
٠ License holders in the area of gaming machines who come under Dansk Automat Brancheforening (Danish gaming machine industry association).
٠ License holders to land-based casino who come under Dansk Kasinoforening (Danish Casino Association).
