Gambling brought Kazakhstan $16.6 million in 2017

According to the published government report of Kazakhstan, the gambling industry has replenished the state treasury by 5,5 billion tenge or about $16,6 million in 2017. Compared to the previous year, tax payments increased by 184%.

It is noted that record success achieved due to penalties imposed on the company OLIMPKZ. As a result of the review of the case, the company was obliged to pay about 2 billion tenge ($5,6 million) as an unpaid tax.

Financial success is also ensured by the introduction of instant lotteries. Thus, the national lottery of Kazakhstan «Сәтті Жұлдыз» announced an increase in tax revenues to the state budget to 2,5 billion tenge.
