Grand Casino Luzern launches online casino

Grand Casino Luzern has become the second casino in Switzerland to launch an igaming offering, through a partnership with Aland-based charitable gaming operator Paf.

The MyCasino.ch website was launched after the country’s Federal Council (Bundesrat) approved the casino’s application for an igaming license on 7 June. In total, four casinos were approved to launch online, but besides MyCasino.ch, only Grand Casino Baden done it already via the Jackpots.ch brand.

The same month, Paf was selected as a technology partner by Grand Casino Lucerne. The operator supported the development of the website by supplying the technical platform, games and operational support.

The Mycasino.ch offer consists range of slot games, including Paf’s exclusive in-house developed game Golden Rabbit. The operator will launch a selection of live casino games in autumn, featuring a live table from inside the Grand Casino venue. Also, in an effort to generate interest in the new site, every month all registered customers will have a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas.

“Our good reputation and well-known gaming responsibility were important factors for the Swiss gaming authorities. We were told that Paf was recommended to Grand Casino Lucerne for exactly those reasons. It is undeniably cool to have such a reputation in the gaming industry,” said Paf CEO Christer Fahlstedt.
