iSoftBet secures Maltese licence

Casino software and games supplier iSoftBet has received a B2B software licence from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

The new licence will now enable iSoftBet to provide more than 100 of its games to tier-one brands also licensed by the MGA.

The online and mobile casino content provider has lauded the awarding “a key regulatory landmark” as several brands invest heavily in the region, as they seek “a combination of proven and fresh content during the busiest period of the year for the igaming industry”.

“We are one of the most certified and compliant suppliers in the igaming industry. Malta is a key milestone for iSoftBet, and we’re delighted to have gone through the licensing process with flying colours,” said Mark Halstead, compliance manager at iSoftBet.

iSoftBet now holds licences in 16 regulated markets around the world, including the UK, Alderney, Belgium, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal and Switzerland.

Earlier this year, iSoftBet also expanded into the Czech Republic after it agreed a deal to support Czech state lottery operator Sazka with the launch of its next-generation online casino product.
