“Halloween” – american independent film of 1978, directed by John Carpenter, co-authored with producer Debra Hill. The main roles of the film were played by Jamie Lee Curtis and Donald Pleasens.
The film tells about the character Michael Myers, who on the night of Halloween in 1963 at the age of six killed his sister. After 15 years, he returns to the township town of Haddonfield, Illinois, to continue his murder.
Almost 40 years later, the horror film “Halloween” continues to be a favorite among viewers and critics. In 2006, the film was chosen to preserve the Library of Congress in the National Register of the United States, because it is considered “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant”. He is also present in many movie ratings, including in 2010 one of the top 100 films of all time (Total Film).
