Malta-based online lottery and gaming operator Multilotto has been granted a Swedish license to operate as from the 1st of January, 2019. The license covers both Lottery and online casino games offerings from Multilotto.
The new gaming license gives Swedish customers the opportunity to access the games of their choice under Swedish regulation. The SGA also has strict requirements when it comes to pro-active responsible gambling, meaning customers are better protected, resulting in a more positive gaming experience.
The number of igaming licensees in Sweden is now around 60, and being updated all the time. A number of leading operators are preparing to launch, including 888, bet365, Betsson, LeoVegas, Mr Green and lottery betting operator Lottoland.
