Skin-betting is available on the Isle of Man

The Gambling Supervision Commission (GSC), the Isle of Man gambling regulator, officially handed over the first license for games with virtual goods (skin-betting). The permission has received resource ESP.bet eSportsPools, engaged in reception of rates, including on a fantasy-sports.

The license grants the right to purchase and sell virtual items that improve the appearance of the game. Items are united under the common name skins, they are sold and bought for money on some platforms and installed in the game. One of these games is Counter Strike.

Goods can be transferred to other sites, where they are assigned a value in existing currencies, including bitcoins. Their total value is estimated at $5 billion.
