The gambling industry can be completely banned in the capital of Slovakia. The total ban on gambling in Bratislava was supported by more than 136 thousand residents and 45 advisers. The remaining 17 officials offered a legitimate but limited industry in tourist hotels and places. Such models of the existence of the industry are realized in Vienna and Budapest.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Finance of Slovakia Radko Kuru made a statement: “The global gambling market has been developing dynamically in recent years. Legislation has responded to the expansion of gambling in the virtual space and has set new tasks in terms of control”.
The financial administration intends to search for sites with gambling that violate the law in order to stop their activities in the Internet space. Sites will be blacklisted if they do not comply with the legislation of Slovakia.
