The biggest casino will be open in Europe. As the Associated Press reports, the government of the Mediterranean state supported the offer of Melco International, Hard Rock and CNS Group to establish a gambling house in the city of Limassol.
The casino will include 136 gaming tables and 1200 slot machines, and the hotel will house 500 rooms, a spa and a 1500-seat concert hall. It predicts that the project will attract about 300,000 tourists to the Mediterranean island annually. Moreover, tourism accounts for more than 20% of the economy of Cyprus.
