The main lottery agency of China presented a regular report on the market for July 2017. Sales of the sports lottery grew by 4.2% year on year and amounted to $5.13 billion.
Direct sales of sports lottery products grew by 7% – to $17.5 billion, and lotteries with valuable prizes – by 3.9%, to $8.8 billion. Total revenues grew in 18 provinces out of 31, where lottery tickets are allowed to be sold. Beijing has become one of the cities, which accounted for the decline in income from the lotus – 7% on an annualized basis.
Guangdong Province retained its leadership position in mainland China, noting an increase in total sales of 2.2% to $3.5 billion.
