UKGC suspends Lotteries.com licence

UK Gambling Commission decided due to AML and social responsibility concerns to suspend the licence of lottery betting site Lotteries.com. The operator owned by Isle of Man-registered International Multi-Media Entertainments Limited, had its remote betting and casino licence immediately suspended, as the British regulator will review into the business.

The Commission said the suspension is “due to anti-money laundering practices and ongoing social responsibility concerns we have with the operator. We have instructed the operator to ensure that it facilitates customers’ accessing their accounts to withdraw any funds and we remain in contact with them regarding the need for clear and updated messaging for consumers”.
