Which payment provider will try to fill Skrill and Neteller for Norwegian gamblers

Norway’s iGaming market is open for new payment companies, since ePayment giants Skrill and Neteller are no longer available in the Skandinavian gambling industry. Their decision was announced in December to Norwegian online casinos and players had a couple of weeks to settle their accounts.

From the 21st of December 2020 online casinos can no longer offer the services of those payment providers. Norwegian wallet account holders will still be able to conduct personal money transfers, non-gambling transactions and all ATM withdrawals as part of the service.

According to market insiders the only eWallet available for gamblers in Norway is ecoPayz. This payment solution is currently still accepted for use across online casinos and sports betting sites around the world, including Norway. Unless some new ambition players in the payment industry will try to make their move during 2021 and enter the Norwegian market
