The Maltese state initiates the use of crypto-currency in gambling in terms of legally lawful and regulated use, – said the organization’s chairman Joseph Cuschieri.
Crypto-currency casinos were considered one of the first applications of blocking technology since its invention ten years ago, but many of these organizations were shadowed, which raised concerns about the use of questionable technologies.
Joseph Cuschieri shared his opinion on the crypto currency: “Now the country is analyzing the form of the crypto currency and assessing the possible risks of working with it. After the study is completed, the Malta Gambling Commission will make its decision. The authorities are aware that the growth of the importance of the crypto currency is inevitable. To keep pace with new technologies is simply necessary and in the near future we plan to allow the use of the crypto currency by its licensees”.
