Online gaming operator Casumo has launched its mobile-first casino product in Denmark after receiving its five-year Danish licence earlier in the month.
The operator will soon launch a media campaign to promote its online casino services to Danish consumers.
“Obtaining a license in Denmark is an important milestone for us as a company and is a part of our strategy to enter and grow in regulated markets. We continue to develop our product and operations for agility, sustainability and scale in this space,” says Casumo co-founder and CEO, Oscar Simonsson.
“We can’t wait to get our product in the hands of the Danes and hopefully give them a new perspective on what online casino can be,” adds Simonsson.
Casumo also has plans to introduce a sportsbook in the market in the near future. In recent months the Malta-based company was able to secure approval to launch in both the Italian and Swedish markets.
However, on April 2nd Casumo was fined €310,000 by Dutch gambling regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) for illegally targeting consumers in the Netherlands.
