European iGaming and sports betting operator Kindred Group went live with both online sports and casino in Pennsylvania. The launch comes just weeks after Kindred launched its Unibet retail sportsbook at Mohegan Sun Pocono.
Kindred online gaming operation is powered by the iGaming platform of Pala Interactive and for the digital sportsbook, the company has agreed earlier this year to use Kambi’s wagering platform.
The company described the development as its “next significant step in the US market”. Also, together with the recent partnerships with American football team Philadelphia Eagles and soccer team Philadelphia Union, the online launch will serve to further strengthen Unibet’s brand awareness in Pennsylvania.
“After a successful launch of our betting lounge, Unibet Sportsbook at Mohegan Sun Pocono, we are thrilled to take the partnership with Mohegan Sun online and bring the Pennsylvanian guests a state-of-the-art online gambling experience, including the best online casino games and an impressive online sportsbook,” stated Kindred US senior vice president Manuel Stan.
The Unibet Sportsbook at Mohegan Sun Pocono occupies 1,130 square feet at the casino floor. It was the 11th sportsbook to open doors in Pennsylvania since November 2018 when legal retail betting commenced in the state.
