Euroleague and Genius Sports are partners since 2014 with the latter serving as the main data collector and distributor for the iGaming industry. Europe’s top basketball competition decided to extend this partnership.
Euroleague confirmed that data from its tournaments will be secured by Genius Sports’ courtside technology and will live feed the sports betting industry. Genius sports monitor 85.000 basketball games a year in over 150 countries.
Through the extended deal Euroleague committed to protect its media rights and remove unauthorized data collectors operating within their stadiums.
