Multi iGaming product provider Pragmatic Play signed a 5-year deal with Endemol Shine Gaming for the award-winning BBC and Netflix drama hit Peaky Blinders. The deal which excludes UK and USA markets, gives Pragmatic Play the rights to Peaky Blinders online slot, live casino, instant win scratch cards and virtual sports products.
The first product is expected to be launched on May 2020 and will feature characters of the TV show in a video slot.
Melissa Summerfield of Pragmatic Play said on the deal: “Bringing forward a title like Peaky Blinders will definitely appeal to our customers and beyond, considering the tremendous success that the series gained since its launch. Peaky Blinders branded products will be yet another successful addition to our ever-expanding portfolio, and we trust that it will live up to the expectations.”
Peaky Blinders TV drama has been aired on BBC and Netflix for five seasons featuring cast of actors including Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory and Paul Anderson. The series has won multiple awards including the 2018 BAFTA for Best Drama Series and Best Drama at the 2019 National Television Awards and is distributed across 180 countries by Endemol Shine International.
