Spain’s and Andalusia’s football giant Sevilla FC is about to sign a record €5 million per year shirt sponsorship with online gambling company Betway. According to various press reports, Betway is ready for a bold marketing move and entered discussions to become official shirt sponsor of former Europa League winners for the next years.
Lead sponsor of Sevilla FC was Marathonbet, which is reported to have withdrawn its sponsorship of Sevilla, since the postponement of the La Liga championship 2019/20. According to those reports, Marathonbet has terminated terms on its two-year contract with Sevilla FC.
