Dafabet signed a sponsorship deal with Celtic

Scottish football giants Celtic has signed a five-year renewal of its deal with shirt sponsor Dafabet, the Philippines-based betting company.

The first partnership signed with Celtic in 2016, but has now extended the deal to 2025 in what the Scottish Sun newspaper has labelled “the biggest ever shirt sponsorship deal in the history of Scottish football”.

Operator’s logo has adorned the shirts of a series of major football clubs in recent years and will be worn by newly promoted Fulham in the coming English Premier League campaign.

Chief executive of Celtic, Peter Lawwell, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to secure such a lucrative, long-term arrangement with Dafabet, a fantastic partner with whom we have already enjoyed such a great relationship. Agreements such as the one we announce today allow us to look forward with confidence as we strive to ensure Celtic maintains its position as the biggest and best in Scottish football”.
