British online betting company Bet365 has announced deals to be the sponsor of ten different soccer teams in Spain’s La Liga.
Among them – RCD Espanyol, Villarreal, Athletic Club, Real Betis, Getafe, SD Huesca, Celta Vigo, Rayo Vallecano, Real Valladolid and SD Éibar. The economic terms have not been disclosed but the deals all cover the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. The online casino’s logo won’t be seen on the players’ shirts, though, only on websites, facilities such as stadiums and buses and in social media.
This contract make bet365 the leading betting sponsor in Spanish football, with rivals such as Betway sponsoring Levante UD, CD Leganes and Deportivo Alaves. Other operators active in the Spanish football sponsorship market include Codere (Real Madrid), Betfair (Barcelona and Sevilla), bwin (Atletico de Madrid and Valencia), Kirolbet (Real Sociedad) and Marathonbet (Girona).
