The Hellenic Gaming Commission (EEEP) has publishing updated list of rules. The updated draft rules include a number of amendments to the earlier set of regulations that were circulated for consultation in September and October. The regulator is now inviting comment from the gaming industry and other interested parties, though the consultation period closes on January 25.
The regulations cover sports betting and table games, with random number generated casino games still controversially omitted.
The list of proposed changes include some amendments to Greek iGaming regulations, which is why the EEEP has given companies until January 25 to submit their comments. Operators and interested parties will be able to respond to new rules, which include responsible gambling controls, among other topics.
Responsible gambling changes include the obligation to clearly feature related information on their website. Player should also be able to set wagering limits, to self-exclude from the website (temporarily or permanently) and operators are required to intervene when they detect problem gambling symptoms.
