FIRST.bet has secured a strategic partnership with BetVip to bolster its operations in Brazil, a market characterized by intense competition and rapid growth. BetVip will utilize FIRST.bet’s sportsbook technology, including its pricing and trading tools, to elevate its product offerings.
The switch to FIRST.bet follows BetVip’s decision to end its previous supplier agreement. The implementation of the new platform is being handled by Cactus Gaming, a leading Brazilian sports betting technology provider, ensuring a smooth transition.
Since the launch of Brazil’s regulatory framework under the ‘Bets’ regime in January 2025, the market has seen a flurry of activity, with major international operators like Flutter Entertainment, BetMGM, bet365, and Betano establishing their presence. This influx has heightened the need for operators to invest in cutting-edge technology to remain competitive.
Both BetVip and FIRST.bet believe that cultural relevance and local engagement are pivotal to thriving in Brazil. BetVip’s strong connection with Brazilian players has been instrumental in its success, and FIRST.bet’s technology is designed to further enhance this relationship.
“BetVip is one of the biggest names in Brazilian betting, and we did not get here by settling,” said Nathanael Alves Bezerra, Chief Executive Officer of BetVip. “Our players expect the best sportsbook in the market, and moving to FIRST.bet was how we made sure they had it. Ever since the move, the performance has spoken for itself.”
This partnership is part of FIRST.bet’s broader strategy to expand its footprint in Latin America. Recently, the company partnered with Atlaslive for a region-specific initiative and is also assisting ADI Predictstreet in its expansion plans, including its role as a commercial partner for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“BetVip knew exactly what it wanted from its sportsbook and made a deliberate decision to move,” said Tom Light, Founder and CEO of FIRST.bet. “For a brand of this scale, changing sportsbook is a major decision. They trusted FIRST.bet to deliver a better product and execute the migration properly. We did both.”
