Doubts over $20 million prize pool at MILLIONS Online

The resurgence of PartyPoker’s record-breaking MILLIONS Online tournament was reported last week. However, it seems that ambitious $20 million guaranteed prize pool claims could be premature.

The newly created MILLIONS Online webpage don’t have information regarding the $20M guaranteed prize pool anywhere. Currently it just states that the tournament will return and will run for 12 days between November 24 and December 4. According to the site, dates are however subject to change.

The buy-in for the third edition of MILLIONS Online also still have to be finalized. The first two editions had a buy-in of $5300 and there are suggestions that this year buy-in might double.

The Last edition was held in December 2018 and it became the largest single online poker tournament ever. Reported 4367 entries to its $5300 buy-in event generated a prize pool of almost $22 million.

When asked for comment by Pokerfuse.com, PartyPoker representatives said: “that a full statement on the upcoming schedule will be revealed soon.”
